CMS-1270-F is the original final rule establishing competitive bidding programs for certain Medicare Part B covered items of durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supplies (DMEPOS) throughout the United States in accordance with sections 1847(a) and (b) of the Social Security Act.

Effective Date: This final rule became effective June 11, 2007.
